I finished preparing two exceptional iBooks this weekend, and I thought that some of you within our community might be especially interested, or you might know someone who is in need. They both have our CRC installation of OSX 10.3.9 .<br>

The "bonus feature" on this iBook is that the logic board has been reconditioned, (resoldering of the graphic chips by First Phase Technologies, <a href="http://firstphasetech.com/ibook-repair-g3-g4.html" target="_blank">http://firstphasetech.com/ibook-repair-g3-g4.html</a> ,) to eliminate the video failure syndrome that plagues many iBooks. I will personally guarantee this one for one year against graphics chip failure. The iBook also has a 30 GB hard drive, NEW keyboard, DVDROM-CDRW "Combo" drive, 384 MB or RAM, Apple Airport 802.11b card, and an excellent used battery. In the interest of full disclosure, there is -one- stuck pixel near the bottom right corner of the display. Open market price ( via LowEndMac) is $375 or more, sans reconditioning or Airport.) <br>#7381 is a G3 iBook 700 14", in pristine condition - only a few light scratches. (Even comes with manual in original wrapper!) The bonus feature on this one is that I've "relamped" display, replacing the display's original aged and dim CCFL lamp with a brand new one, so the display is very bright and crisp. Other features are 30 GB HD, Combo optical drive, 640 MB RAM, Apple Airport 802.11b card, and an excellent used battery. LowEndMac indicates market price near $400, Goodwill price is $275.<br>
<br>Let me close by asking you to take that old laptop off of the closet shelf and send it to Goodwill. There's no such thing as a useless old iBook or PowerBook - somebody can make use of it!<br clear="all"><br>-- <br>
