<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">I have been having trouble with one of my email accounts -- with Armstrong's Zoominternet service. Recently, I switched from using the unstable and agonizing Microsoft Entourage app to accessing my zoominternet account with Mac Mail. I have been using Mail application to get my .mac account mail. For .mac account, Mail has always worked very well. I set up an account in Mail for the Zoominternet service. It worked for a while. Then Mail would seem to get confused about what server to access for sending from the Zoominternet account -- I'd need to constantly reset the account preferences. Ultimately Mail simply completely stopped being able to send using the Zoominternet account. About 2 weeks ago, it also stopped being able to receive email from that account as well! After exhausting my own capabilities (limited they are and this is principally trying to reset the POP account for Armstrong all over again) I threw in the towel and called Armstrong support. The tech there said the likely solution is to rebuild my Mail app and accounts. I am willing to do that, but he also warns that I would likely lose any saved emails/folders when I do that. He said tyhat Mail is unlike any other email program, so blah, blah, blah. So, my question:<div><br></div><div>Is<font class="Apple-style-span" size="5"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;"><b> there a way to put the already saved emails I really want into a file not connected to Mail to be able to access once the Mail app is redone -- either thru the rebuilt Mail or just separately? Thanks for any help offered!</b></span></font></div><div><br></div><div>Ralph Waechter</div></body></html>
