[NPMUG] Goodwill CRC update, Friday, August 22

Dear Mac friends:

Many thanks to Charlie Hutchens, Rick Fitzgibbon, John Hamill, Tucker  
Trainor and John Bauerlein for joining me today at the Goodwill  
Computer Recycling Center for our weekly workday.

Today's tally was 23 iMacs, 22 OS X G3 DV iMacs and one OS X G4 iMac.  
This brings our all-time total to 1,393 Macs rehabilitated. Don't go  
rushing down to the Goodwill ComputerWorks store for the G4 flat- 
panel iMac; it went out the door less than two hours after we  
refurbished it.

We soon hope to post a list of our available rehabilitated Macs on  
our web site, PghMac.com. It will list groups of available models,  
not each specific machine.

We'll gather at Goodwill again next Friday, August 29, where Mac  
number 1,400 will come off the bench sometime around 9:30 a.m.

Who woulda thunk it? We did Mac number 1,000 just eight months ago....
